How to Feel Peace: Self Forgiveness


Adapted from Ho'oponopono, the secret Hawaiin healing system, today's flash card is meant to inspire letting go of the past and bringing forth peace into now.

When we forgive and love ourselves first, we can extend the loving kindness to others who may have hurt us or who need healing. Imagine the person being surrounded by your love and say:

I'm sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you

Practice this technique and you will break the emotional chains of resentment. Even if people hurt or irritate us, we must forgive them or we attract more conflict.
